Join the EAA Young Eagles Program Today!

The EAA Young Eagles program offers free flights for kids between the ages of 7 and 17, providing them with an unforgettable aviation experience. Our initiative aims to inspire a passion for aviation among young people, while offering educational opportunities and fun activities.

We also invite adults over the age of 18 to experience the wonders of aviation through our Eagles flights. Don't miss this opportunity to inspire the next generation of aviators!

  1. Directions to Event:
  2. 1. Please use the main entrance of Brown Field Municipal Airport, located at 1424 Continental St, San Diego, CA 92154.
  3. 2. Once inside, proceed to the Flight Line Restaurant/Jet Center. At the stop sign, turn right, and you will see Gate 4 directly ahead.
  4. 3. Enter through KSDM Gate 4 on the southeast corner of the airfield.
  5. 4. Volunteers will be available to assist between 8:15 AM and 9:00 AM.
  • Important Information:
  • - Brown Field Municipal Airport is a secure airport. Please ensure that you only arrive during event hours or if prior arrangements have been made.
  • - The airport is currently undergoing construction, and attendees will be required to drive on a temporary road and be escorted through an area where aircraft are being actively moved.
  • - Do not park in the volunteer parking area. Please note that it may be difficult to leave during the event.

Priority for flights will be given to first-time Young Eagles. Flights are subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.

  • 8:30 AM: Registration opens.
  • 9:15 AM: Mandatory safety briefing.

Late arrivals after 9:15 AM cannot check in for a flight but are welcome to join ground activities.
